Hello Mike,
First we want to thank you very much for all the excellent work and planning that you did in organizing our trip through Viet Nam, Cambodia and China.
We had a very memorable trip and saw many fascinating things and met many wonderful people.
Except for the guide situation in Hanoi and the minor issue in Beijing things went reasonably well. The
guide in Beijing had gone to the wrong terminal and when he showed up he was most apologetic and was a wonderful guide.
We learned that three countries were too many for the length of time (sixteen days) we were away. We wish you would have suggested adding more days to our schedule. I think you should check with your clients and see what age group they are and book things accordingly. There were too many early mornings and no time for relaxing and catching our breath. An eight A.M. flight might mean waking up at four A.M. in order to have breakfast, check out and get early to the airport depending on distance from the hotel. The trip was very tiring and it has taken some time to adjust once we got back to Canada. Also, information and suggestions regarding the weather would have been helpful. We had no expectation that it would be as hot and humid as it was particularly in Cambodia.
Halong Bay was particularly nice and we would have enjoyed more time on the junk. Overall we really enjoyed Viet Nam and Cambodia. We saw things in China that we have always wanted to see but I don’t think we would return, however we would come back to Viet Nam and Cambodia. Our flight from X’ian was supposed to land in Shanghai enroute to Tokyo but due to bad weather in Tokyo Eastern China Air arranged an overnight hotel for us and unfortunately the early flight the next morning developed a mechanical problem after it left the terminal. The end result was that we missed our flight from Tokyo and had to spend the night at an hotel at the airport.
Having said all that we wondered why since we were landing in Shanghai anyway that you did not suggest adding a day or more to tour Shanghai and see the Expo sights.
I think in the future we would like to visit Thailand and Laos and would contact you if and when we do the trip.
We are now in Mexico for the winter.
Once again thank you for your efforts on our behalf.

Dear Mike,
The tour was very well organised, the reps were fine and the drivers most helpful and punctual with transport and transfers.
The hotels were generally excellent, except for Golden Sands in Hoi An. We loved the Pilgrim Village – a real discovery. Food worked out very well for our group.
I felt that there was a lot packed in for a 2 week trip and a few visits were less impressive considering the travel involved – The Cai Be floating market and the “Scenic” Perfume river cruise.
One off tour plan was brilliant – A swim in the waterfalls in Luang Prabang
Over all a very successful trip especially an appreciation of the recent political history and of course Ankor Wat.

We all have a wonderful time in Vietnam. Thank you for organising it for us as it all went like clock work. All in perfect time. We are really impressed with your tour guide in Danang/ Hoi Ann – His name is Vinh. I will email you the feedback form later on as our luggage is still unpacked.

Hello Lan,
Our Vietnam Holiday was absolutely fantastic.
Your attention to details and choice of guides, drivers etc was excellent.
The train trip to Lao Cai was good, and our guide “Ha” was so friendly and informative, we learnt so much from him. There was so much to see at the markets!
The “Bhaya” boat and crew really made us feel so welcome. And again with the Basaac cruise, every one was so friendly. It all went so fast, but it was a great time, thanks to you and your great guides, drivers and advice. We loved visiting your country and also meeting you.
All the best from David and Romayne Boniface from Australia.

Hello Mike/Maria,
just wanted to tell you that we are very happy with the arrangements and that the tour went overall very well.
The hotels were all good, some even excellent. Same can be said about the guides.
Some minor inputs only:
1. We never received the promised water/refreshments(wet wipes). Nothing to worry about but you might take it out of the description.
2. The time in Hoi An was too short. You need more than one day there even to get just the minimum of possibilities.
3. The excursion from Hanoi to Tamcoc was slightly disappointing – not because of the scenery but because the lady on the rowing boat was constantly trying to sell us something or kept asking for refreshments and for tips while we only wanted to enjoy the scenery and also the lunch at the hotel was the worst we got in Vietnam. (Everybody else was disappointed as well).
Re the restaurant in Tam Coc: it certainly was a fine setting, but the service was not satisfying. We only got one of the courses at the end (after the others, though it should have been the second) after we mentioned it hadn’t come. The prices for drinks were Hotel prices (so a bit inflated, but this is acceptable). Our main complaint though is that the food didn’t have the quality I expect in a hotel – indeed any food stall around would have had better food on offer. The portions were tiny, but as the quality wasn’t there it didn’t matter. Everybody we talked to shared our opinion. I’m sure the restaurant can do better – there was a vietnamese party on the ground floor and their food did not only look god, they also seemed to enjoy it.
You might talk to the rowing boat operators and change the restaurant)
Again, overall we enjoyed the trip greatly and plan to be back in Vietnam shortly.
I will recommend your services to the publishers of Seat61 and also to my friends and family.
Thanks again and Best Regards

Mike,
Not sure where to start really. Other than to say that our holiday was fantastic. As you know, we are a family party of 7 adults with a variety of age ranges between 54 and 19 and EVERYONE was very very satisfied with the tour. You and your company have given my family a trip of a lifetime.
Every tour guide was punctual, honest, spoke good English and knew their area and history well.
All drivers drove carefully, were very polite and provided water on every trip.
The itinerary was excellent, personalised by yourself in advance, and adapted, as appropriate with the local guides. Meeting you in person during our stay in Hanoi was also a pleasure.
We have visited the most amazing sites – beautiful locations, places of historical relevance in all countries, national monuments and religious settings. All trips were handled with the appropriate sensitivity to ensure local customs and traditions were conveyed. We learnt so much relating to the local area and culture which was the main purpose of our visit.
We eventually totalled!
4 swimming opportunities (waterfall, Ha Long Bay, China Sea, Hotel swimming pool Siem Reap)
5 boat trips – Ha Long Bay, Mekong River, Perfume River, Fishing Village and our last day in Bangkok
5 flights – all tour guides ensured we arrived on time and their timings were excellent which meant we did not miss a number of hours on holiday
Two overnight sleepers – timing excellent and the hotel accommodation arranged to allow us to freshen up and, again, not lose a day
Mike, as you can read, we had a fantastic holiday and you and your company co-ordinated the arrangements with efficiency and professionalism that made every dollar worthwhile.
The accommodation was all very very acceptable. All hotel staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast or arranged dinners were very excellent.
Our jewel of the trip really was Siem Reap, both the hotel and Angkor What leaves us with amazing memories – also the tour guide – Sophea – was someone who we would recommend to you personally who would be a credit to your operations.
We really intend to come back for an alternative trip next year and would like to contact you again for your help and guidance.
Let me know if you require any specific information for each location but
THANK YOU and your staff, so so much for all your efforts.
With sincere thanks.

Hello Lan,
I would like to thank you for the good organization of our tour in Vietnam. The guides were competent and helpful when I had some health troubles.
The only difficult moment was the stress we had to arrive on time to visit the bay of Halong.
The bay was beautiful and the service on the boat was very good. After the cruise we visited the but thap temple: really worth going there, authentic, beautiful and no tourists
In Hue and Hoi An our guide was excellent. We liked those towns very much.
We underestimated the impact of the high temperatures on our “fatigue” .That is the reason why I changed the program in Hoi An.
We were pleased with all the hotels. “La Résidence” in Hue was my favorit. I loved the art deco style!
We stayed with our daughter in Vientiane until 19/5. It was so hot, over 40°C. On 20/5 we arrived in Belgium and after 4 days the jetlag is gone…

My family and I would like to thank you for helping us organise our holiday in Vietnam. We found your service to be excellent in every way, efficient, friendly and very helpful. We would love to return to Nha Trang at another time and would definitely use your company again.
All the hotels were good, very clean and the staff were very friendly. The only thing I thought you might want to know is the Nha Trang Lodge has quite a lot of noise coming from the Discoteque in the basement. This was not a major problem for us as we were on a higher floor, however if we had been on one of the lower floors we would not have wanted to stay there. The location however was good and the view of the beach was lovely.
Thank you once again – we had a fabulous holiday.

Dear Ms. Narol,
Thank you for the prompt response.
I have received the visa approval letter and will definitely recommend your agency to all my acquaintances for their Vietnam visa needs.
Thanks again !!!
