Cambodia and Vietnam Your Honeymoon of Life (#704)
Day 1 : Siem Reap – arrival (no meals)
First date of Vietnam & Cambodia Honeymoon package: After arrival Siem Reap international airport, warmest greeting by tour guide with bunch of rose! then transfer to town for check in at your hotel. You can find a good taste of Khmer cuisines at a local restaurant here.

Day 2: Siem Reap – Angkor (B)
After have nice breakfast at the hotel, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon Temple – built by Jayavarman VII at the end of the 12th, in the exact center of the city of Angkor Thom, Baphuon, Phimean Akas, Elephants and Leper King Terraces.
Afternoon to discover Angkor Wat that is visually, architecturally and artistically breathtaking it is a massive three tiered pyramid crowned by five beehive-like tower rising 65 meter from ground level. Have a moat and exterior wall measuring 1300 x 1500 meters surround Angkor Wat. The temple it self is 1km square and consists of their levels surmounted by a central towel. The walls of the temple are covered inside and out with bas-reliefs and carving. Nearly 2000 distinctively rendered Apsara carving adorn the walls. Overnight at same hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 3: Siem Reap – Angkor (B)
After breakfast, we drive through beautiful country side and villages with beautiful landscape to Banteay Srei (Ladies Temple) was built in the 10th century which considered by Khmer artist as the jewel of Khmer Art. It is a small temple, but its beauty with pink sandstone and the details carving is always in mind of visitors after the visit. On the way back, we will also visit Banteay Samre and Pre Rup Temple.
Afternoon, we continue our visit to Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist temple built end of 12th and then visit to Eatern Mebon, one of the oldest temple in the area. After, we visit Neak Poan and Preah Khan Temple, ws the Royal School in the 12th Century. Return to Siem Reap town after tour.

Day 4: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Market – Battambang (B)
Drive to Lake Tonle Sap where you will have the opportunity to learn about life on the lake. Tonle Sap is Sout East Asia’s largest freshwater lake with its size varying greatly depending on the season. During the dry season it is roughly 2,500 km2, swelling to about 4 times it size in during the wet season: 10,000 km2! We will board a boat and visit the Chong Kneah village where we’ll see floating houses, farms and even a floating hospital, Mangrove forest then visit “Les Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Ecole” the finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts. Have lunch.
Afternoon enjoy your own shopping at Old market and then we drive overland to Battambang.

Day 5: Battambang – City tour (B)
After breakfast, we discover Battambang, a small colorful town, with charming Khmer characteristics. Firstly visit to Phnom Sampov. This mountain is the site of two caves which were formerly places of torture and killing by the Khmer Rouge. A memorial holding some of the victims’ remains has been created there. From this place of such brutality, one can enjoy an ironically spectacular view of the countryside. Afterward, we go to Phnom Bannon, and climb the 337 steps to the top to the 12th century Prasat Bannon Temple. There we can enjoy another outstanding view of the surrounding plains. We then continue to a natural cave located down the hill.
In the afternoon, we will try a local transport Bamboo Train to visit villages. Then visit the temple of Wat Ek Phnom. Return to your hotel.

Day 6: Battambang – Phnom Penh – City tour (B)
After breakfast, you will be transferred overland to Phnom Penh, on route, visit Udong where it was a former city before moving into Phnom Penh, check-in your hotel.
In the afternoon, we will visit Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda was build by King Norodom in 1866 inside its gleaming yellow walls are most conspicuous feature and impressive colorful Khmer style halls for the Royal Family, then visit silver pagoda, located in the compound of the Royal Palace. Inside it floor is constructed of 5000 silver tiles. In the center of the pagoda there is a magnificent 17th century emerald Buddha status made of baccarat crystal and its walls enclosing are covered with frescoes depicting episodes from the Khmer version of the Ramayana. Independence monument and Wat Phnom.

Day 7: Phnom Penh – City tours (B)
In the morning, continue you’re visiting Visit Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21) a memorial and a testament to the madness of the Khmer Rouge regime, Toul Sleng Kept extensive records, leaving thousand of Photos of their victims and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek where about 17,000 people were killed during the Pol Pot Regime. We also visit Toul Tompong Market (Russian Market). It is the best place in town for souvenir shopping having a large range of real and fake antiquities. Items for sale include miniature Buddha, silk silver jewelry, gems.

Day 8: Phnom Penh – Chau Doc (B)
Free leisure and then transfer to the harbor and take Hang Chau express boat from Phnom Penh to Chau Doc, Vietnam. Transfer by yourself to hotel in Chau Doc, rest of time is free at leisure.

Day 9: Chau Doc – Cai Rang floating market – Can Tho (B)
07.30am: Pick up you at your hotel in Chau doc, drive the direction to Can Tho and visit the Cai Rang floating market
(the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop.

Day 10: Can Tho – Cai Be floating market – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Depart to Vinh Long. This trip provides a look at a wide variety of the life and scenery of the Delta. On the way you can see green rice paddy fields stretching towards the horizon.
After arrival in Cai Be, a boat takes you to the floating market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging their goods from their boats. Next, a boat rides on the maze of shady canals visiting the An Binh islands (Vinh Long). We will enjoy the local tropical fruits and see how local people cultivate their orchards, make their living from ceramics, popcorn and rice paper… A nice chance for bicycle riding, roaming through the village and looking at the local handicraft shops. A stop will be landed on Vinh Long market a nice walk around.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City half day tour (B)
Although it is a big and chaotic metropolis, but this make your discovering the city are unique. Nice colonial center, with broad promenades and squares, and some French influence buildings that should not be missed. There are also many nice temples and pagodas. Another of the things visitors should not miss are its popular markets – a great place to taste the local food specialties. Our stops in this city tour inclusive Reunification Palace, War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market.
The rest of day is time for shopping.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi tunnels (B)
Drive from your hotel to Hoc Mon District to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, which is 70 kilometers North West of down town Ho Chi Minh City. The Cu Chi Tunnel system had been created long time back, from 1948 to assist Viet Minh in the combat with French. And it was continuing built over 25 years later. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers. In places, it was housed up to 10,000 people who virtually lived underground for years…. getting married, giving birth. During the American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a free fire zone and was heavily bombarded. From 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors. Be back at your hotel after 4 hours travel & visit.
