Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival  – Temple Tour (D)

On arrival at Siem Reap Airport, transfer directly to hotel (room may not be ready until afternoon).

In the afternoon visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue to the architectural masterpiece of Angkor Wat and explore the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple.

Conclude the day with delicious dinner while watching Traditional Dance Show at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Siem Reap Whole Day Temple Tour (B/L)

Visit the temple of Ta Prohm, with enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers embracing the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of it being reclaimed by nature.

Also explore Banteay Kdei, Srah Srong, Takeo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda. Continue to the grand circuit which includes Preah Khan, the Kravan, Neak Pean, Krol Ko, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup temples. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Evening, visit Bakheng Temple and enjoy a romantic sunset view form Bakheng Hills.  Accommodation at hotel.

Day 3: Siem Reap – Kbal Spean – Banteay Srei (B/L)

Morning drive to Kbal Spean followed by a 45-minute walk through the forest to the top of the hill to the “Thousand Linga River”. Discover the 10th – 12th century sculptures chiseled into the rocky riverbed, the Royal Bath and the waterfall. Continue to the enchanting temple of Banteay Srei, nearly everyone’s favorite site. The special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation and the excellence of its decorative carvings.

In the afternoon, visit Banteay Samre. Return to Siem Reap at the end of the afternoon.

Day 4: Floating Village & City Tour – Departure (B)

Drive to Village of Chong Kneas and board a boat for a short cruise on Tonle Sap Lake past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants and hospitals. Visit Artisans D’ Angkor, an insight into the skilled craftsmanship of Cambodian traditional handicrafts, and the local market before transfer to Siem Reap International airport for departure flight.
