Sapa Market and Ha Long Package (#302)

Day 1: Hanoi  Arrival – night train to Lao Cai (no meals)

Arrive at Hanoi International Airport, meet and transfer to the hotel for check-in hotel for rest before visiting Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, was built since 1010. Take a tour around this unique city to the sites of – Hochiminh Mausoleum, Hochiminh house on Stilt, One-Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Museum of Art, Sword Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and ancient streets. Transfer to Hanoi railway station for a night train to Lao Cai.

Day 2: Lao Cai – Muong Khuong – Me Village (B/L/D)

Breakfast at Lao Cai town bordered with China then transfer to Muong Khuong. Trek around 3hrs to Me village. Here is the area of inhabitants of ethnic minority H’mong and Nung. Arrive at Me village, have dinner and spend a night in house on of stilt made by H’mong.

Day 3: Me Village – Lung Khau Nhin (B/L/D)

Breakfast then trek through the forest and beautiful villages to the Lung Khau Nhin village. It takes about 6hrs to trek in hard trails, difficult and high terrain. Have pinic lunch on road. After many hours of trekking, we arrive at Lung Khau Nhin village. It is very nice village of Nung ethnic minority in this border region. Leisure at village, dinner and overnight here for discovering the farming methods, life and traditional customs of Nung community.

Day 4: Lung Khau Nhin – Quan Than San village (B/L/D)

Take leave of inhabitants of Nung ethnic minority, it takes 12 Km from Lung Khau Nhin to Quan Than San by trekking through many peaceful and nice villages. During the trekking we can visit some villages along the streams and contemplate the imposing mountains. Leisure at village, here visitors can meet more of Lao Cai’s colourful Flower H’mong people and the highly-photogenic ethnic minorities in North West of Vietnam. Have dinner and overnight in the village of H’mong.

Day 5: Quan Than San – Bac Ha (B/L/D)

After having breakfast, visitors can leave the inhabitants here for Bac Ha town, Sunday: A scenic 3-hour drive to visit famous Bac Ha Market, situated on the border to Yunnan. Every Sunday the otherwise sleepy town is transformed into a bustling place full with various ethnic minorities. Here visitors can meet more of Lao Cai’s colourful Flower H’mong people, plus Nung, Dzao Tuyen, Tu Di and a number of other ethnic groups such as the Thu Lao, the Pa Di, the La Chi and the highly-photogenic Lo Lo. Check in Bac Ha hotel. Have dinner at local restaurant.

Day 6: Bac Ha – Nam Than (B/L/D)

Check out hotel and breakfast. Start trekking about 12 Km to Nam Than village. Have leisure, lunch and dinner at the village of Tay ethnic minority.

Day 7: Nam Than – Bac Ha – Lao Cai – Hanoi (B/L/D)

Breakfast. Leave the village for coming back Bac Ha. Arrive at Bac Ha, you can visit the market and discover the daily life activities of this little town as well as buying some souvenirs as handicrafts and farming products made by colorful ethnics here before coming back Ha Noi. Have lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to Lao Cai railway station. Visitors can see the HaKou border gate to China. Have dinner at Lao Cai.
Get on train to Hanoi (soft sleeper 4 berth compartment with air-conditioning). Overnight trip.

Day 8: Hanoi – Halong Bay with Glory Cruises (B/L/D)

NO ESCORT GUIDE FROM HANOI, GUIDE ON BOARD
Arrive at Ha Noi early morning (04:00). Transfer to 2* hotel for rest, bath and breakfast.

7.30 – 12.00: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong City through the paddy fields in the Red River Delta.
12.00 – 13.00: Arrive in Tuan Chau Wharf – Breaking and taking photo at Glory Legend Private Lounge
13.00 – 15.30: Check in and enjoy Welcome Drink, receive cruise brief and safety instruction by crew member and  Cruise Manager
Start cruising. Enjoy set menu lunch while cruising to magnificent Halong Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay, admire the fascinating formations on the way. You will have opportunity to see the famous such as: Perfume Rock, Fighting Cock, Lonely Rock, Saddle Rock…. before arrives to “Vung Viêng” village.
15.30 – 17.30:Visit “Vung Viêng” village by a rustic – row boat, meet the local people who will help you row the boat for sightseeing. Enjoy quiet space and fresh air, you will feel truly relaxing.
17.30 – 19.30: Back to the boat and free time for relaxing

Cooking class on sundeck – How to make spring rolls. Then enjoy spring rolls you make together and Happy Hour (buy one drink, get one free). It is time for chatting and relaxing.
19.30 – 23.00: Deluxe Vietnamese Dinner will be served
Evening activities include: Leisure time for chatting around the bar, watching many sorts of Vietnam cultural films.  Relaxing and spending a romantic night on Glory Legend Cruises’ music. Reading magazines in room and dining room. Passengers may also try their luck with squid fishing on the boat.

Day 9: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L), GUIDE ON BOARD

06.00 – 09.00: Taking part in Tai Chi class on the sundeck (duration about 30 minutes)
Coffee, tea and pastries… for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape.
Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for cave visiting. Return to the boat by tender. Proper shoes are highly recommended.
09.00 – 11.30: Check out and make payment in reception area
Have a set menu brunch while cruising back to the Tuan Chau Wharf. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery as approaching the wharf.
11.30: Transfer by tender to Tuan Chau Wharf. Say goodbye  to the crew
12.00 – 16.30: Return from Halong to Hanoi by shuttle bus
Stop over the middle to visit a traditional workshop
16.30: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the trip.

Day 10: Hanoi – Departure (B)

Free at leisure on your own for shopping or sightseeing. Transfer (no guide) to airport for your flight departure for next destinations
