Night 1: Hanoi- Overnight train to Sapa (no meals)

Tonight you will take an overnight train for Hanoi to Lao Cai, A/C soft sleeper 4-berth sharing cabin on a tourist train.
*Note: please get a reliable taxi from your hotel to Hanoi train station (we recommend to use Mai Linh or Group taxi, ask the driver to turn on the meter, costs abt 3-5$/transfer), about 3km from Hanoi old quarter areas to train station “Tran Quy Cap Station B” for train to Lao cai.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van homestay (B, L, D)

Early morning: You will arrive Lao Cai Station. Be met at Lao Cai train station and departs for Sapa by shuttle bus. Arriving in Sapa mid – morning and breakfast then take time for refreshment after a long train.
Our guide meets you & we hike along a mountain loop, on another side of the town, down to Lao Chai village for-stunning landscapes over the valley along the way. The good walk start from the main road down through the rice fields, passing by Lao Chai Bridge and reach a local family of Dzay people on Muong Hoa stream bank for lunch.
PM: Keep hiking through lush rice-terraces towards Lao Chai village to experience daily life and customs of Red Dao people in Ta Van village. You would love to have a quick visit with local families and learn about their traditional fiber processing.
Arrive in Ta Van village of Dzay ethnic minority, we come and relax in a family, dinner and stay in the friendly homestay.

Note: the trek depends much on your health, feel freely discuss with your local tour guide for smooth experience, either by hiking towards or by car.

Day 2: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa – Ham Rong Mountain – Lao Cai – night train to Hanoi (B, L)

In the morning: after breakfast with your host, we leave Ta Van village for a great hike through bamboo forests to Giang Ta Chai waterfall, including a short break to enjoy stunning views surrounding. This trekking route offers some moderate challenges as you with several up and down trails from one valley to other. As we see the densely lush vegetation after a stunning high pass nearby a waterfall, we break for a picnic lunch.
We back to Sapa by car for Ham Rong Mountain
17h00-17h30: Join bus transfer back to Lao Cai station for the night train back to Hanoi by soft sleeper, 4-berth sharing compartment on tourist train.
Dinner is on your own arrangement.
Overnight train trip

Day 3: Hanoi arrival, take taxi to your hotel!

You will arrive early in the morning then take meter taxi to your hotel in Hanoi or transfer to airport. Kindly tell driver to turn the meter on and we suggest you to use Mai Linh taxi as it is reliable enough!
Early check in hotel & breakfast are not included. Trip ends here.
